After a couple of weeks of intense competition, the snail racing tournamenrt reached its grand final last night.
Ange finally emerged as the 3-2 victor in a tense encounter with John Chance and was duly crowned Monarch of the Molluscs.
Both Ange and John kindly donated their winnings to Cancer Research and Nigel was good enough to throw in a bottle of Scotch for an impromtu raffle. The raffle was won by Jules who has been good enough to allow us to re-raffle it next week.
So far, the snail race has raised £335 for the charity and we'll be looking to add to that over the festive season.
