Freefall are a three piece electric/accoustic band providing a broad selection of melodic pop for the discerning listener.

The trio apply an innovative approach to covers, taking classic tunes by artists as diverse as Crowded House, David Bowie, The Maisonettes and 10CC and treating them in a way that is uniquely Freefall.

The band's current line-up - Steve Byrd (guitar and vocals), Dave Thompson (guitar and vocals) and Phil Brittle (drums and percussion) - have been together since some time around 2002.

The band have built a steady following with their appearences at The Gate on alternating Wednesday's, never failing to provide a fresh and distinctive set, always delivered with a warm, friendly and intimate vibe - the perfect antitode to the cold, dark, Winter nights that lie ahead.
